Privacy Policy

This policy explains how NVComputers Inc (“we”, “us”) handles information in our apps, Blob Mob and Next Dimension, and on this website. The two apps work very differently, so they're covered separately.

Blob MobCollects nothing about you. Next DimensionSends your precise location to our servers. It's needed to show nearby content.

Neither app has accounts, and neither contains advertising or analytics SDKs. We don't sell your information or use it to track you across other companies' apps and websites.

Blob Mob

Blob Mob doesn't collect, store or share any personal information.

• No accounts, ads or analytics. The game has no sign-up, shows no ads and contains no analytics or tracking code.
• Saved progress stays on your device. Your current level, score and settings are kept on your device so you can pick up where you left off. They're never sent to us.
• Game Center (optional). If you're signed in to Game Center, your scores and achievements are sent to Apple's Game Center service for leaderboards and achievements. Apple handles that data under Apple's Privacy Policy. We can't see it.
• Photos (optional). If you tap Save on a progress badge, Blob Mob asks to add that image to your photo library. It can't see or read your existing photos.

Next Dimension

Next Dimension places stickers at real-world positions around you, so it needs to know where you are.

What the app uses

Precise location

Your latitude, longitude and altitude, while the app is in use. Next Dimension doesn't track your location in the background. It's sent to our servers when the app loads nearby content or the list of dimensions, and the last known location is also saved on your device so the app can start up quickly.

Camera

The live camera view shows stickers in your surroundings. It's processed on your device. The app doesn't record camera images or send them anywhere.

Device and connection details

Each request to our servers includes the app version, iOS version and device model. Like any internet request, it also reveals your IP address to the services receiving it.

Settings

Preferences such as your chosen units and map style are stored only on your device.

How we use it

We use your location to work out which content to show you and where to place it, including choosing content based on your country or US state. We use technical details to run the service, keep it secure, and diagnose problems.

What our servers keep

Our servers write a request log that records the date and time, your coordinates and altitude, the street address nearest those coordinates, and how much content was returned. Our cloud provider's diagnostics may also record request details, including the coordinates in the request and connection information.

The log doesn't include your name or any account or device identifier. Even so, precise coordinates can be revealing on their own, because a location such as a home can identify the person there. We treat these logs as sensitive, keep them private, and keep them only as long as needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.

Third parties

Next Dimension relies on third parties to host our servers and store our logs, to look up places from coordinates, to show the in-app map, and to supply sticker content. To do that, they may receive your location, IP address and device details. Some may also collect usage data to improve their own services. Each handles that data under its own privacy policy. We share only what's needed to run the app, and we never sell your information.

Your choices

You can turn off location or camera access at any time in your device's Settings, though Next Dimension can't show its content without them. Deleting the app removes everything it saved on your device.

This website

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking, and it doesn't load anything from third parties. Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, to run the site and keep it secure. If you email us, we use what you send only to reply to you.

Children

Blob Mob collects nothing, and that goes for players of every age. Next Dimension isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has used Next Dimension and you'd like us to act on it, contact us.

Security and storage

Next Dimension's connections to our servers are encrypted, and access to our logs is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, contact us using the address below. Because our logs aren't tied to a name or account, we may need details such as an approximate place and date to find matching records.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll post the update here and change the date at the top.
